How do I take or renew my Safeguarding Youth training?

You can take your Safeguarding Youth Training on my.scouting.org

• If you previously took the old Youth Protection Training (YPT), take the full 90-minute Safeguarding Youth Training (SYT). 
• If you previously took the 90 minute SYT course and it expired more than 30 days ago, take the full 90-minute course.
• If you previously took the 90 minute SYT and it expired 30 days ago or less, or is still active, take the 20-minute Refresher course.  

If your registration has been suspended due to expired Safeguarding Youth Training, take the appropriate Safeguarding Youth Training (as outlined above), email your completion certificate to the registrar and request reinstatement.  

Please be aware that it can take 20-48 hours for you to receive the completion certificate.
