How do I set my Unit Sales Goal?

Created by Sophie Plants, Modified on Thu, 30 Jul at 1:31 PM by Sophie Plants

  1. Create your Unit's Ideal Year of Scouting calendar: adventures, events, summer camps, day trips, blue & golds, court of honors, pinewood derby, etc.
  2. Assign costs to all of those things and develop a budget based on that Ideal Year of Scouting.
  3. Figure out the cost per Scout of that budget.
  4. Divide that number by your Unit's anticipated commission you will earn. That will be your Per Scout Sales Goal.
  5. Mutiply the Scout Sales Goal by the number of Scouts in your Unit and that will then be your Unit's Sales Goal.

There is also an amazing Adventure Planner in the Trail's End Leader Dashboard.
