Cooking for meal preparation is permitted using charcoal or propane gas in elevated, portable grills or fire pits. Open flames, liquid-fuel lanterns, and candles are not permitted in tents. Spent charcoal ashes must be fully extinguished with water and safely contained in metal cans to be hauled out.
